Own a Tesla or another EV? We generally handle tires, brakes and suspension on Teslas and EVs at our shop on Osler St in Marpole, and we do full pre-purchase inspections if you're thinking of buying one.
We're a family-owned, independent shop at 8865 Osler St in Marpole. We've been here since 1988. We're BCAA approved, and our technicians are Red Seal certified.
What We Do
Tires, brakes and suspension on Teslas and EVs
EVs don't need oil changes, but tires, brakes and suspension still wear and still need looking after. That's the work we generally do on Teslas and other EVs, including suspension work like upper and lower control arms.
For EVs we also do cabin air filters, brake fluid, tire rotations and suspension checks. Every tire rotation and seasonal tire swap comes with our free brake check.

Tesla and EV pre-purchase inspections
Thinking of buying a used Tesla or EV? We do full pre-purchase inspections covering the functional and mechanical items we can see, and you get a written report or photos.
Some computer issues only Tesla can detect, so we'll be upfront about what our inspection can and can't tell you. Anyone can drop the car off, and the report goes to whoever is paying for the inspection unless you tell us otherwise.

Drive unit, battery and software work goes to Tesla. For anything else on a Tesla or EV, call us at 604-266-7610 and ask.
We'll point you in the right direction
If it's a job we don't do, we likely know someone who does. We'd rather tell you that up front than take on work we shouldn't.
If your car is under a manufacturer's warranty, please check with Tesla or your warranty provider before you book.
How We Work
Plain English, no surprises
Granville & Avery is a family-owned, BCAA-approved shop with Red Seal technicians. We've been fixing cars in Vancouver since 1988. Same approach on an EV as on everything else: find the real cause, explain it clearly, and only do the work you approve.
No scare tactics and no pressure to approve work you don't want. If something else turns up while your car is in, we'll show you and let you choose.

We service domestic and import cars, light trucks, hybrids and European vehicles, and we generally handle tires, brakes and suspension on Teslas and other EVs. We don't work on exotics or very high-end cars.
