Granville & Avery Automotive is a family-owned auto repair shop at 8865 Osler St in Marpole, Vancouver. We've been fixing cars here since 1988.
We're BCAA approved, we have Red Seal technicians, and some of our technicians have been with the shop since 1988. We explain what your car needs in plain English and only do the work you approve.
Our Story
A family-owned Marpole shop since 1988
Granville & Avery opened in 1988, and we're still family-owned today. Some of our technicians have been with the shop since that first year, so the people working on your car have seen just about everything come through our doors.
We built this business on trust, transparency and fair treatment, for our customers and for our team. That's the difference between a family-owned shop and a large corporation. We also recently renovated our front office.

How We Work
Clear answers, no scare tactics
When your car comes in, we tell you what needs attention now, what can wait, and what's coming up down the road. We explain it in plain English, with no pressure.
Only the work you approve
We only do the work you approve. Second opinions are always welcome, and the choice is always yours.
Most routine maintenance is done in a matter of hours. If you'd like to wait, Cup and Crust Cafe is just around the corner.
What We Do
Full-service auto repair
We handle brakes, tires and seasonal tire swaps, oil changes and maintenance, check engine light diagnostics, A/C, electrical, exhaust, fuel system and suspension work.
We also repair door handles, door locks and window regulators. Every tire rotation and seasonal tire swap comes with a free brake check.
Warranty varies by job and depends on the parts used. Ask us when you book and we'll explain what applies to your repair.
Inspections & Vehicles
Inspections and the cars we see
We're a provincially designated inspection facility. We do pre-purchase inspections with a written report or photos, plus out-of-province, commercial and Uber/rideshare inspections.
We service domestic and import cars, including European brands (no exotics or very high-end cars, so call first). On Teslas and other EVs we generally do tires, brakes and suspension. Call and ask about anything else.
